thinking i need a tig
i already have a mig and plasma from everlast and been very happy with them so i decided that i need to add a tig to the shop. i'm going to be building a chassis for a 68 camaro that i recently picked up for a project car and i don't know crap about tigging but would like to be able to do aluminum as well eventually. i was looking at the 185dv and the 200dv but like i said i don't know crap about tig. thickest material i can see me ever tigging is .25" in either steel or aluminum but this frame will probably be .125". what would y'all suggest?

Definitely look at the 200DV.

Also,
The 210EXT is only $310 more than the 200DV right now, at the Everlast website.
The 210EXT has added waveforms, digital interface, memory function, Advanced Pulse, 10 more amps, etc., at a price that other well-supported advanced TIG unit can’t touch.
But, one sleeper feature on the 210EXT that undoubtedly beats virtually every AC TIG unit marketed in North America, is its whisper quiet operation, due to the four-fan cooling. And there’s none of that off-on “fan-on-demand” interruption noise. Just quiet operation on the 210EXT, not so much on the 200DV.
I mean, I’m almost always listening to music as I weld, so I was very happy that my 210EXT was so quiet. It may be the quietest AC TIG unit marketed on the North America. Ha, ha, ha…

Good evening,
I have a 200 DV and absolutely Love that machine!!! ... I will probably be looking at a machine something like the 325 in the next 12 months. You cannot beat the valus an performance features on the Everlast machines! .. And, don't forget about the support...EXCELLENT!!
Have a great Sunday!
