Who manufactures the Everlast NOVA Tig torches and where are they made?
Gee,
It's undoubtedly a Chinese factory. And I notice that the latest AHP 201DX unit comes standard with a NOVA rota-flex torches fitted to a super-flex-style cable/hose, which is otherwise an upgrade worth about $150.
But the NOVA "pedal" from Everlast looks like a dead ringer for the SSC pedal produced in N. A., I believe, even though it reportedly uses a nice quality potentiometer sourced from a Japanese manufacturer.
Mark might be willing to share some more accurate feedback, though, as I'm somewhat guessing.
Let's just say NOVA is a top quality torch. It operates in the US under our arm currently. It'll have a website eventually. It is chinese, not going to deny it, but using some of the same/similar sources and types of components that CK, SSC and others use.
The NOVA pedal is similar to the SCC, but with several improvements and longer life components, along with better cables and protection. Uses a Japanese name brand potentiometer versus the SSC mexican made one.
There is also a portable NOVA table that is heavier than the NOMAD and HF versions, and it also has a tool kit that you can get with it.
Yeah,
No need for any apologies.
NOVA stuff is providing great quality and better values to many North American customers.
