Smoother weld on AC aluminium with the torch positive, not negative.

I thought that the 200dx when welding aluminium in AC was meant to have the torch negative?


After switching my torch to positive, then rotating the balance clockwise to maximum the machine seems smoother now.


Is that the way it is meant to be run then? torch +ve for AC aluminium ?
