Power Plasma 50 Wiring
Just received my new Power Plasma 50. I just need to buy a plug for it now. Am I able to wire it up to 120vac, or does it NEED to be 220/240vac? I know i wont get the full power from 120, but it would work for now until i get the rest of the shop wired for 220. Can i do that?

Same question as CPierce...
The specs indicate that it will run 120/240. I have it setup right now for 240, but it would be nice to know for certain that it will run on 120 if I need to take it somewhere outside of my garage that doesn't have access to 240.
Does anyone know for certain if this unit will run 120V?
Thanks,

I've done it (some old posts somewhere. will not work above about 20-25, depending on the breaker.
It will work on thin stuff.

Ray,
I'm assuming when you say "above 20 - 25" you mean the setting of 20 to 25 on the machine and you're not referring to 20 to 25 amps at 110V.
Thank you for commenting.

I would recommend waiting for the 220volts. Night and day difference and not all of our units will work on 110volts.
Does it have a 110/220volts AC sticker on the back of the unit.
