Welcome to the forum, nice setup. Post some projects when you have the time.
Or someone like him...

Welcome Speedy. That close to the breaker panel, I think I would be running myself ;) I wouldn't be able to wait. Keep us posted on your progress.
Will do! , My dad is a contractor and his friend is a certified electrician so I am just paying for parts and some fat cases of beer. I'm the Welder of the family and they do all the house related stuff. Every time they need something welded I have to take it to work. My first project will be a nice Welding Table or custom shelves for my house (artsy) style.
Sounds like you have a plan. I'm sure the TIG will come back to you real fast.
You might want to look into the Certiflat table kits.
Like mejmtioned above. Try to take some picture, even if the final project.
I looked the table up on youtube , they are pretty neat. They are expensive tho but worth it if you want a guaranteed flat surface.
A friend of mine has a little one, and I am about to buy a pair of the 3'x4' tops so I can make a modular table that can either be 4'x6' or 3'x8'. Still working on ideas to make a good height adjustment. Much lighter than the typical thick top style, just not something you want to beat on with a BFH.
