I have owned a PP60 with a P80 torch (High Freq) for several years and it's been flawless.
Consumable life has been about one set per year for my more than average hobby work.

A good air drier like the Motor Guard M60 is a must have for clean cuts and long consumable life.

We do have a "new" generation of machines either freshly rolled out or on the way. They'll look very similar to the past units from last year, but feature new torches all the way around (some were already phased in) and improved internals. Better operation of course too.
I have had a PP60 for about a year and a half. I use it for field work. I have gone through about 4 tips in that time. I do not use it every day but defiantly every week. It has worked well and runs great off my gas drive welder. I will say that I do not use it for metal heavier than 5/8. It can cut thicker but I find that it is slow for heavy cuts.
