Newbie to Plasma
The title says it all. I just got my first plasma.....a Power Plasma 60. Had questions about the electrical.....emailed tech support....got the answers i needed. Started setting up the plasma and blew a hose off the inside if the unit......called tech support. Mike told me what to do over the phone to cure the problem.....problem solved. Thursday will be my first day off work since , so i am hoping to play around with the cutter a little. Mike thanks for your help

We've had a few blown hoses here and there, not a huge issue, but its a relatively easy fix. We are changing the hose fitting design in the future, but most of the causes of blown hoses are over pressurization. The units should be kept under 90 psi supply. 150 psi compressors will blow them off everytime if they are not regulated at a lower pressure.

air pressure
Thats what wasnt making sense.... the hoses were blowing off at 60 psi. But its all fixed now.... the new clamps are holding fine.

Yes, it has happened at lower pressures, but about 80% of the time it is from high pressurization of the line. The clamps are a little temperamental and we will hopefully have that changed in the future, but a 15 cnt hose clamp is all that is required.
