Powertig 185 Torch and pedal question

I will be ordering the PowerTig 185 in the next day or two. I see a lot of them sell on Ebay for right around $850 but there is no foot pedal. I need a foot pedal. I also hear guys saying if you buy one get the better torch and foo tpedal. Can someone recommend which pedal and torch to get with the unit without breaking the bank? what consumables should I order with the unit? I want to be able to get this for $1000 or under shipped. I know the first thing someone will ask is "What kind of welding do you do?" Well I have been stick welding and Mig welding for more than a few years but have almost no experience in TIG welding. I will be using this for the welding needs of a small custom bike shop I run. It will be used for frame modification, general fabrication and repairing broken aluminum engine and transmission casings.
