Smart Truck

Yet another spray rig, this time on another Kubota RTV900. Took off the stock bed and jigged up a frame for the tank.

I wanted to have some captive nuts for a few things, but I don't have a spot welder to use weldnuts. A couple of options, first for some near the edge of the tube, I used square nuts and drilled a hole on the side for a plug weld. A center drill gave me a nice hole with a 60° chamfer to weld in.

Used for a mounting bracket for an engine/pump.

For some in the center of a tube, I used a flange nut and drilled the hole next to the bolt hole, for the plug weld.

Painter didn't show up, so the boss went at it with a brush. :O

Very nice. The green pump is a nice touch ;) Did it come that way (since I see the bolts are sprayed)?

We did a gator way bad for a pest control place. I guess they bug spray the grass down there... Nice work as usual Ram.

BTW I forgot to mention that this was titled Smart Truck because my fiancée thinks this looks like the kind of truck Smart car would make.

She's right. The orange part does looks like the Smart car. We have them out here, but not many. I have had them pass me at 65MPH. Would not want to get in a wreck in those little things.
