hey guys...
there's a socket in the back which looks like it need to go into a separate earth. is this required? every now and then i get a electricity shock when welding...i am guessing this need to be plugged in too ?

That's an additional chassis ground point. If you have trouble with HF interference, you can connect that point to a shorter ground path than your power outlet. I don't use mine, since the high frequency doesn't bother my other electronics.Quote:
