Weld 2"3/8 pipe to 2"3/8 pipe 255EXT almost wide open running at 230 to 250 amps know problem, was easy. Then prototype car parts made of steel and aluminum I have many parts to do in the next few months will post on this thread.

Did you use any pulse or raw power?

Just straight power for the Aluminum on Advance Square Wave no pulse, 35% clean, AC Frequency 250 Hz, 100% Argon @ 28 CFH and 2% Lanthanated 1/8. Steel no pulse, 100% Argon @ 12 CFH and 2% Lanthanated 1/8 also. I like the preset Memory Program just switch to the number I have set for steel and weld or just got to the aluminum number preset and go. I wish they had more memory number, I set them close to what I like and adjust after take a little more time but it is still faster then my 250EX. I still like my 250EX I put the smaller torch on it so I don't have to keep change Tig guns.
