Greetings from Fulton,NY
I have been welding(mig) for years.I usually have run miller and lincoln but having heard great things about Everlast I bought a 200dx for my first TIG.Just started on it the other night after watching tons of videos online.I sued a TIG at an old job to weld some aluminum about 20 years ago but the machine was already set up and I didn't do much.I have been part of my families machine shop since 1994 after graduating high school and a few years ago really dove head first into welding and fabrication.I am solely self taught. My favorite things to do is hunt deer and turkey, build jeeps and the last few years fabricate anything I can to get the experience and also just for the fun of it.I have done a 1984 scrambler that I got stupid and sold, and my last build is a 1995 YJ that i put a MB grill on and did a bunch of custom fab work to.I made the hood, bumpers, rear aluminum corner guards, aluminum tailgate and the front fenders.I also did the boatsides myself,I don't have the capability to bend sheet metal yet but I am working on that.Looks like a great site and I cant wait to pick your brains a bit to get all the info I can

Welcome R_RUSSEL,
Sounds like you have a fun filled life there. My son and I just restored (most of the body, some frame, rockers, etc.) on a Wrangler. After all the work, gas tank mount, shock towers, tranni mount, etc. We know it so well we are thinking about a jeep for a mud truck. It was a lot of fun.
