Question about consumables

I've ordered a 210EXT, and when I get it, I'll be selling my Miller Maxstar 150. So, I've ordered a CK torch and super flex hose to use with my new welder, because the torch I'm using now (a WC17 series) will be sold with the Miller!

I already have collets, collet bodies, gas lenses, and cups for my WC torch. But for the life of me, I can't find anywhere where it definitively states whether or not the spares I have now will work with the new torch. I think they will...but I'm not sure, and if they won't, I want to order stuff now so I have it when the welder arrives!

so, can anyone tell me if the consumables for the two brands are the same?

Well, we can't help you. :)We need more information to be able to do so. You didn't tell us which torch you have bought from CK. All of CK consumables interchange with other brands, but without the model of the torch, there's no way to tell which consumables they can interchange with.

Yes, the 17 is the same as the CK 3 series.

That's correct Zoama...but sometimes the "series" isn't something the customers see first with CK and their numbering variations.

Note that the 'Series' listed in the table on the Weldfabulous site says 'ck17'. I had to go to CK's site to definitively connect a series 3 torch to the ck17 family. From the responses above, it sounds as if I'm good.

I don't have a WC9 (or series 2(?) CK), but I'm assuming it's the same within that group as well???
