Did I fry my Torch
I have a Everlast PP205 STick/TIG/Plasma all in one and really like it. I was Tig welding some .063 aluminum diamond plate today and switched the TIG torch over to the Plasma Torch to cut some more diamond plate.
When I activated the trigger on the Plasma torch, some odd noises happened and no arc for Plasma. I disengaged the trigger and looked over and FORGOT TO SWITCH THE MACHINE FROM TIG TO CUT....OUCH!!!
I changed out my consumables and the Plasma torch won't cut and just down right acts odd with just a pulse of the switch. I took the head off and it appears that there is a carbon like ring before the threads that is zapped.
Question is, did I really mess this up and need a new torch or can this be repaired? Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the feedback. Should I replace with your s45 or a different torch? Also, operating inadvertently in Tig=frying torch?

Some times it is nice to have different machines plasma cutter and a welder so thing like that don't happen or keep a spare torch.
