Two thumbs up from a UA Welding Instructor!

I heard from friend of mine who is going through a welding course at our local union hall. They were talking about the various manufacturers and how we are encouraged to buy certain products for certain reasons. Lincoln and Miller came up along with ESAB and Hobart. All great machines. When Everlasts name came up his instructor knew them well and said that they are great machines at great prices. He was impressed with their service and professionalism. He also mentioned that in the end its our hard earned dollars we are spending so why shouldn't we get the most bang for our buck... A few students own Everlast and all gave them two thumbs up.

That's to be expected,,,your reputation will always get there before you do,,,and Everlast has been working on making their reputation as good people to deal with,,,and decent products at the right price..

That's a well informed instructor. I don't mean the by the fact that he gave us a good recommendation, but by the fact that he knew about our product and all products in general, and was open minded enough to investigate the facts a discuss the economic aspects of the products.

I am also a UA Local 601 Steamfitter from the Milwaukee area and had purchased a 250EX nearly 3 years ago which I use all the time both TIG & stick. The Everlast 250EX easily goes toe to toe with the Miller Dynasty and Lincoln Invertec machines... I actually like the arc better on the Everlast! I have been extremely happy with my machine welding steel pipe, stainless or aluminum! I plan on buying an Everlast Plasma cutter very soon.

Superex...Thanks for the comments. There are "some" guys out there, that can't admit to themselves that the unit's arc is as good as or better than Miller or Lincoln. I've used most all of them, and would agree. A few reviews that I have seen around have given Everlast good marks, but they can't bring themselves to say it welds as good as others and feel they have to ding us slightly on our arc just so they retain their credibility with their viewership. Nice to hear it from someone who has used it for an extended period of time.

i own a 250EX and think it does a great job. i have owned a dynasty and a 350lx, it's not fair to put it up against the lx for power but for arc quality it's better. it beats the 200
hands down. the extra fifty amps makes a big difference.
