What do you plan to weld? That will be a good starting point, and power access, budget :D
Do you plan on aluminum? MIG or TIG?
I been targeting a power pro 205 since it welds aluminum (TIG) and for the plasma cutting function, thats a plus for me!!! What you guys can tell about this machine? I have a Thermal arc 161 stl which it does lift TIG but only DC, need the aluminum since the only way for me to weld this is whit SMAW DC :P Thank you guys for the welcome, and have a great day.

Sounds like you picked the right unit and for all your right reason. In post #5 I mentioned letting us know what your plans are. You did and picked a good choice in post 6. The 256 is not a lot more money and will provide for welding and cutting power too.Quote:
