That's very cool. What is the 'finish' on steel? It almost looks like it's been powder coated.

The I put the feet in the holes of the tie plate at about the angle I wanted them to be at and welded them in place.
So rather than trying to level the base with the feet, I added feet to a level base.
That's Rust-Oleum's Hammered version of paint. It's called bronze, but looks a lot more silver than bronze to me.Quote:
