Customer service is King...

This is kind of long but please bear with it. I am new to welding and new to Everlast. I am a small business owner of a custom hat and boot shop and I am competing against big box stores like Cavenders, Shelpers, and the like. Although my product is custom and superior to the mass produced hats and boots that they sell they are still my competition. I pride my business on customer service and my clients experience with me, I say me because I am my business. SO, what does this have to do with Everlast you ask...

Since I have been dealing with Everlast, specifically Oleg, I have had the best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Oleg put up with my multiple questions and was happy to answer them via email and on the phone. I called tech support to ask questions about the electricity needed to run my Power Arc 160 STH and they responded quickly and courteously. This is in quite contrast to the experience I had with the blue and red people.

To me customer service is everything and the company will live or die with me depending on how their service is. SO far so good!

Thank you Jay, your welder on its way

Short but funny, and might bring Oleg back some memories.

I bought an Everlast welder before I worked for Everlast, many years ago. I had cold feet being I only had red (that one failed on me and the reason I was looking for a new unit; Praxair wanted $200 under retail to fix it) and blue, I never heard of Everlast.

After the order, since the price was beyond belief.. I got cold feet, after a 1 hour meeting I was in, I called back and cancelled the order. Oleg was cool about it, said it had not shipped yet, it was cancelled.

I thought to myself, if I could get my money back that fast, shoot, I will get one and take my chances. I called back and re-placed the order, Oleg was cool again, mentioned he did go through the credit card process twice (order and cancel)... And he sent me my first unit.

I have never looked back far as welders and cutters and I have 6 units in operation now and all are green.

Today, we (Everlast), are better than we were back then. Still a bump here and there, but much better.
