Issues (Yellow) Supeer Pro 160, will not switch between modes

Good morning Gents..... I have one of the older SuperPro 160s, back when everything was still yellow..haha

Anyhow, I love my machine but have had a couple of issues lately. I figured I would ask here and see what other folks know.

The initial problem is, I'm unable to switch my machine between modes. Its like its stuck on Plasma cutter. Also, while in plasma cutter...the trigger will not activate the air side of the equation. When you squeeze the trigger all that happens is you can watch the AMPs go up in the display.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

But sounds like your solenoid is stuck, and possibly a switch is worn out on the surface. Other than that you can send it in for repairs. Sounds like the warranty is probably out on that old of a machine.

Your right..... Its a Super 160P.

I was able to work the switch back and for between Stick and Tig, until I saw the Amps come up for stick welding. Once I did it a couple of times it started switching modes with ease. Probably not the most technical fix but it worked for me.

The Plasma cutter has a loose connection somewhere in the switch at the cutter end. I was able to play with it enough to work for a little while longer. Is there a replacement switch for this?
