Torch recommendations

I've been using my 225LX for a little over 2 years now without a single issue and loving every minute. I've made 100's of products for customers and my personal vehicle. With that said the tonight the neck on my torch broke when it fell. It's still 100% usable but I'm finally going to cave and buy a new one, maybe two different style torches. Just seeing you guys have any recommendations on any specific torches. I fabricate everything from intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, full turbo setups, to simple items such as catch-cans and intakes. So I weld both stainless and aluminum and need to be able to get the torch in tight places on manifolds etc. I've used the std wp17 torch that came with the welder and have made it work for everything I've needed. I also have the Pyrex cup gas lense kit from USA weld that I love.

Everlast sells CK Worldwide torches now, call sales and talk to them. I suggest a CK Flexloc torch with superflex lead in whatever size you need. All the CK torches are rated at 100% duty cycle both AC and DC.

Okay great, thanks! My tig torch just shot crap so i have to buy one now and get it here asap. Shocked the hell out of me and sparks went everywhere, started a small fire (acetone soaked rag). lol machine is fine thankfully.

I like having two torches. One large size and one small: it gives you a backup and a choice. In my case it's a WP-18 and a WP-26. The only minor annoyance is that the consumables are different.

How is that? 17,18,26 all use the same parts. Just like 9,20,22,23,25 also share parts.

Maybe he meant 18 and 20, that's what we use? I still have not jumped on the CK super flex stuff yet (Oleg and I have emailed but not a priority), but on the wish list. After much more expensive and productive tools.

i like speedway series torches,used it alot the last 3 years and hasnt let me down yet.

Tried calling sales today to order the CL Flex Loc but I guess the hours of operation on the site are wrong and they're closed on Saturdays. Oh well I'll wait till Monday. I watched the weldingtipsandtricks video of him using the CK and I think it'll be perfect.

Funny that I had the same experience with breaking the neck except on a 9 series flex neck which shocked the crap out of me and lit my rag on fire.... I have the everlast 20 torch, 17, and a ck9, and recently ordered a flexloc 130 with superflex cable from everlast. I received it drop shipped from ck but it did not come with the 35 dinse connector. The flexloc torch geometry is difficult to get used to at first but compared to the torch youve been using its like a ferrari enzo compared to your f150. Fits in every conceivable crevice and is light, the superflex cable is like wet spaghetti noodles its so flexable and light.
Either buy a ck9 flexible neck torch or a fl130. You wont regret it.

Hey what's up Jeremy! I went with the water cooled FL250 per Oleg's recommendation when I spoke with him on the phone today and also the 25' cable. Can't wait to get it and get back at it on the turbo setups I have lined up. Put a hamper on things but excited to get the new torch. Hah

I have the ck 9 series fixed head and love it. Really nice comfortable piece. Would recommend it to anyone!

Trust me you have not felt nothing like the flexloc torches.They are awesome and the greatest part is you can change from a wp-9 to a wp-17 by just swapping the head.The best torch when it comes to precision and control.Sorry to say this but you can only bend the ck 9 so much before it cracks and break apart (which is what happened to me)now I have a flexloc 130 and not looking back.
