Well after many hours of deliberation with self, the decision was made to pull the trigger on a new 250EX today. I was down to the 200DX and the 250EX and I only wanted to make this purchase once. So in this case bigger is better! :):D

Congrats! I went with the 200DX because I new I would never need anything more than that.

Good equipment, excellent choice. Are you thinking air cooled torches until you have a need to weld plate? Thinking to buy or make a water cooler? Congrats on the new machine!
For now I am considering useing an Air cooled torch as no need for WC at this point. I have a brand new WP17 that came with a different unit I have that no longer works, however not sure yet on what I will need to convert it to work with the 250EX. No decision on weather to build or buy a Water cooler. From what I have read it's much cheaper to build one.
Got my 250EX in this week. I liked that it came with the WP18F style torch in lieu of the larger blue Euro style. Went to the LWS and bought a new Argon tank , aluminum filler rod and a pack of the new Radnor E3 tungsten. Another 250 bucks, hope my Hobby appreciates it lol. Off until after Xmas so I will have plenty of time to play with it. Gonna have to go with the tap water cooling for now.
