Very nice video. I saw you mentioned doing some with plasma to get the melted edges. I made some like you by cutting the metal, but then I hit the edges real quick with a long arc from a TIG torch to get the flame cut effect. Just a few seconds and it made it look a lot more natural and organic.
But when I see the ones done by Ruslan I feel like a kindergartner doing finger painting compared to Renoir.
OOOOOO that's a great idea ... I had thought about oxy acetylene but long arc … much more cost effective. I hear ya Ruslan really has it together. The one in my video was the first I've ever done with a TIG ... and too ... it's not finished ... I usually clean and paint them before they are done.Quote:

I would love to see it. Funny you should mention heat for color ... I do it all the time but I use oxy acetylene ... I know too expensive but I love shades. As far as Ruslan's work goes ... I wish I could be his apprentice for a year ... man that guy is an artist ... makes me jealous when I see his work ... truly awesome!Quote:

Hey Winky. Another nice video. Always great to see you making good use of your 200DX. Question for you - what is under your leaf when you are using the chisel on it? Must be something that has some give, right?
