Hi - I have a MTS 210S and there is no explanation how to mount the mig wire spool. I have a two pound roll of wire. Can anyone give me some instruction?

I don't see the manual posted for that model, yet, but I'm pretty sure the 200S manual will be close enough to get you going.Quote:

One thing they don't mention, is that it can help to remove the tip when feeding the wire out, then slide it down over the wire and screw it on. The spool retainer is often reverse threaded as well.

And what ever you do don't let go of the wire!!! You'll end up with a BIG MESS if you do. You may already know this... but felt it was worth mentioning anyways.

Lol yea. Was talking to my father in law (actually he was warning me about it) and he said he once dropped a 30lb spool when loading.... Said he used it for years to hang parts and tie up stuff... Finally just threw it away. Cash in the trash.
