The 315 EXT series is in 460 3 phase and all the others can be ordered in it for the next shipment. The MTS 400 is in 240 1ph with a switch for 460 3ph as well, currently.

Have 600v coming into the building.
Place I used to work in the 90's had 1440v coming into the place(1920's construction). Had to throw the fuzes with a 10ft wood pole for leverage and arc avoidance. S/F.....Ken M

Would it be possible to have 3phase 460v input and still be able to use 230v single phase? That would give me a machine I could use at home and at the shop also. S/F.....Ken M
MTS 400 is configured that way with a switchable input, but output is limited to 250 a. On the others, no. MTS 400 is fairly similar to the XMT series.
I was chasing a machine with those sort of specs. In my case it would have been 3 phase 400V / 1 phase 230V and was told "US is still not prepared to commit to a ANZ/Euro model".
I was surprised as the 250EX available here is 3 phase 415V, while the US version is 220-240 V 1/3 PH.
Also surprised, because I am guessing that the input power to the machine is just rectified to provide a DC bus, with the IGBTs at the output, switched to provide the required output voltage / current.
In industry it is very rare to fine a single phase 15A or above outlet, while 3 phase outlets are everywhere. Domestically, here, even a single phase 15A outlet is rare, but is possible, and three phase very rare.
To me, a machine that can operate on a selection of input voltages would have been ideal, given that at the lower single phase voltage, the output of the machine would be reduced.
Just bought a used XMT, covers me for DC TIG and SMAW, but truthfully, I'm going to leave it at the shop. Still need AC TIG, mostly at the shop. I may simply buy two machines, since hauling all the accessories about gets old quickly. Thanks for the reply. S/F....Ken M
