I suggest the CK130 with a superfex cable in whatever length you need and a 35-70 dinse.
There is a huge difference between WP-9 copys and the ck130 even though they are the same size.
The wp-9 is rated @125 amp DC 60% duty cycle and only 80 amp AC @ 60% duty cycle.
The CK130 is rated @ 130 amp for both AC and DC @100% duty cycle. The superflex cable is light and as limp as a wet noodle.
I use mine to 150 amps @ 60% duty cycle > http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...ad-on-my-PP256
What was wrong with arc zone? Who could I buy it through?
Every time I buy from them I get a bunch of excuses about delays... turns out they're just ordering from ck when they get an order then shipping to the customer.
You can order from them and you'll get what you wanted... I just got irked at the lies and condescending tone from them. I ordered a CK210 with cable and dinse from "Machine and Welding" in Greenville SC. They beat arczone's price by $50
I'm not sure if they sell over the internet but here's their website http://www.mwsc.com/ CK says this company sells a high volume of their products.
If your 200dx uses the small dinse order part# SL2-25LG and it will come with a gas quick connect for everlast machines. Whoever you order from may say they don't recognize that part number but they can get it from CK.
Edit: Arc-zone may do better now, the owner Jim Watson sent me loads of emails after our ordeal (even after I asked him to stop) but I didn't read them, so don't let me stop you from giving them a chance.
Thanks. Did the torch come ready to go? Or do I have to buy special consumables for the "2" series torch?
I want a Pyrex cup and also the regular stuff with a #10 cup.
The same consumables for a wp-9 fit the 2 series torches, I use a small gas lens (generic) with ck wedge collets for everything. If you want ck wedge collets, get them when you buy the torch.
I buy consumables from http://www.weldingcity.com/ they have very good prices.
Does the torch already come with insulators?
I ordered mine yesterday!
Zoama do you know if you CK130 setup will work with a Power Pro 205?
Sure will, same as here> http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...ad-on-my-PP256
To officially answer the post:
We have WP 9's with flex heads. These are small as they come, and are limited to 125 amps roughly for duty cycle. These are ready to go with the correct ends, and fittings, and are much more economical to buy than buying parts and pieces, and include the remote switch with the correct end on it...Something Arc Zone hasn't gotten yet. The 9 torch is GOOD quality. Might not be CK level yet, but it is decent enough to last, and weld with, provided you do not melt it down due to over heating it. Price is 129.00 plus shipping for a 15ft. 139.00 for 25 ft.
Thanks. I really don't have a problem with the one I have now. I just want to try different ones.
I am new to TIG. And it's been a while since I have really welded period. I love my machine and can't wait to really learn how to use it, how it's supposed to be.
I bought the ck210 Flex for my PP205. The stock torch that came with the Everlast just about gave me carpel tunnel syndrome:) All kidding aside, I opted for the ck210 flex because it is rated up to 200 amps air cooled. I also, bought the ck hose, pyrex cup, and wedge collet as well. What a world of difference this makes as well. Definitely worth the investment. I believe Everlast has comparable torches, but not up to 200 amps air cooled with flex head. I too bought from Arc Zone and knowing that they don't stock a lot of the CK stuff (they buy from CK and then send to you) I negotiated over the phone to have them call CK and just drop ship to me, which saved approximately 1 week coming from the West coast to NC. Good luck!!
I would like a longer torch for my power arc 140st does Everlast have one in stock?
Not sure if we have them still in 25', but we did.
But also consider the WP20 if you do need to water cool the torch. WP9 is nice, like Mark said, just stay under 125 amps and you will love it. Easy on the wrist.
I think they do. Arc-zone sent me shipping info. It will be here on the 30th.
Arc zone looks to see what people need and provide it. I like that about them. I hate their flooding on the search engines though. But they have all the hard to find parts.
I wont be home until Friday. But wife sent this:

Buggy Chief and 225 will you take some pics of the included torch (WP-26???) and your new ck210/ck130 side-by-side to show the size differences? I am interested in both torches and just want to see a visual comparison to the original torch since I can’t locate them locally.
