Hello from Austin, TX!
Hello All,
My name is Brian, and as you might have already figured out, I live in Austin, TX. :) I doubt that a lot of people here will read this, so I'll keep it brief.
I've come here to try to get some feedback from Everlast owners about their machines and ownership experience. I've been welding for more years than I'd like to admit (enthusiast, not professionally) but have brothers and friends who have come to me wanting to know my feelings about Everlast equipment. I'm open minded about equipment that doesn't come from the "big three" and own an interesting mixture of blue, orange, red, and black equipment. Point being, I'd like to learn what I can, both good and bad, about the experiences you have had owning Everlast. This helps me, and no-doubt helps Everlast!
Thanks in advance!
Brian K.

Hi Brian welcome .. I have had a lot of different welders but got sold on Everlast since they have a good warranty and the company stands behind there welding equipment and they weld nice .

Hey, Brian- welcome! I'll add myself to the list of "owners with good experience". I saw your other post, responding to ZMechanic who is also in Austin. That's a fine idea to speak with somebody locally. If you send him a PM he'll also get an email reminder (if he set up his account to receive email notificiations of PMs), which might get you a quicker response.
Good luck with it! I think you'll find that thinking outside the Big 3 box will be worthwhile.

Hi Brian ... welcome! I don't own an Everlast machine yet but I am planning to buy a PowerTig 220DX ... I have a couple wire welders, a DC Tig inverter, an oxy/acetylene set up and a Miller Thunderbolt 220 ... I'm actually going to sell the old Miller to raise money for the Powertig ... that's how confident I am in the Everlast line. See Jody's site www.weldingtipsandtricks.com he has been doing some tests of Everlast equipment ... I am impressed so far ... he has some nice videos using the 256 multi function unit.

Welcome Brian. I really like the PP60 I got in 2010, the jury is still out on my 250EXT. I have found that Oleg is a good fellow to do business with.
