Suggested Wire size?
as stated on another thread, i ordered the Powerultra205 combo machine.
due to me just recently moving to a new shop building. im redoing some of the wiring in the building.. im no electrician , but i know the basics of hooking up ..
what i do have now , is a tig machine that requires #6 wire from breaker to the unite...
my other welding mig machines require i think #10 from the breaker to the plugs to the machine...
im wondering what size wire i need to run for the Powerultra205 ?
i have access to both wire sizes... but i do have more #10 then the #6's ...
this is for a shop...... so i have 3 breaker boxes in the building to run wire from as well..
any input or suggestion would be great...
oh yeah, this use to be an industry electrician shop, and they left alot of overstock wires, pipes , boxes and all sorts of stuff.. so i got a little to work with .. haha
thanks

Got any #4?lol
That would be ideal. But number 6 is probably the best if you don't have that. For my tastes, #8 is too light for long runs from panel box.

i prob do have 4 , theres tons of wire outside that was cut off spools from underground wire to pole wire.. hahaha... you wont believe all the stuff left here... i havnt bought the building yet.. but the owner told me to use anything i want...
on a different subject besides wires....
when we moved in , i trashed prob a semi trailer full of 30 years of blue print building plans from banks, schools and all types of places across the states... good thing im a honest guy and not use the prints in a criminal way
