PowerPlasma 50 vs PowerPlasma 80

There is not so much choice of Everlast plasma cutters in Europe, however PowerPlasma 50 looks exactly what I need. The only problem I see it requires 39A (1 phase 220V main) and it's way too much. Is it possible to connect the cutter to 3 phase main (400V) to get reasonable amperage?
Another plasma cutter PowerPlasma 80 is not so portable (it seems, the cutter has the same case as PowerTig 250), but it could be powered from 3 phase main 400V and requires 12A (in Finland catalogue) or 22A (in Australian catalogue). Which one is correct? Or may be I have other hidden option? :)

если я правильно понял твой вопрос, могу посоветовать следующее,
рр50 можно подключить к разетке 380вольт(взяв фазу и ноль)
моему рр256 требовалось 42 а от 220 в,я когда первый раз подключил и пробовал варить то у меня постоянно вырубало автомат :O(этого следовало ожидать ,автомат на 25 а )
после я подключился к разетке 380в (взяв с нее 220в)
все работает отлично,горя не знаю:cool:

Ну это единственный способ получить 230 вольт... Только у меня стоит защита 16А на каждую фазу.

Я так понимаю у тебя американский вариант потому как европейский подключается только к 3-х фазной сети и потребляет до ~13А с фазы. Pp50 трёхфазный я в каталогах не видел, а такой мощной фазы у меня даже в дом не заходит.

А если заказать рр50 с питанием от трехфаз:confused:
задай вопрос производителю
под заказ я думаю они могут сделать (самый простой вариант);)

Hi, Everlast Welders Australia here.
I believe our mains power system is the same as Europe / Latvia.
The PowerPlasma 50 is 240V single phase here.
ALL larger models are 415V three phase because of the current load.
The compliance label on the PowerPlasma 50 states a maximum starting rush current of 39A and a maximum running current of 31A.
HOWEVER, we test all these machines before dispatch using a 15A power point, on a circuit protected by a 20A circuit breaker.
They all perform at maximum without tripping the circuit breaker.
No customer has ever reported a problem with overload or with not getting maximum performance because of mains power.

I just read the comment by donar76.
I do not agree with connecting a PowerPlasma 50 to any voltage greater than 230V +/- 10% unless the compliance label permits.

I assure everyone the PowerPlasma 50 works at fully capacity on a 20A 230V single phase circuit.

I would say it is exactly the same as in Europe/UK (240V/415V), because in Latvia (230V/400V). However, it doesn't matter for the inverters.

There is a problem because I have 16A circuit breaker in my garage, and I had to replace it with a slow circuit breaker (16A class B was replaced with 16A class C) to power up PowerTig 250EX which consumes up to 14A. Which class of circuit breaker do you have?
