I sold my other smoker, so it's time to build another one! This one is going to be a little smaller, it's 4'tall x 2'wide and will be insulated. I hope to get the majority of the smoker finished this weekend.

I have a masterbuilt that I bought a few years ago and would sometimes like to have something bigger.
I might have to try building one sometime.
I am using roxul that I had left over from Lowes
I should have some more pics tomorrow, I've been going back and forth between this smoker and plasma table.

I have 2 more top pieces to tack on and I will have the inside skinned. It will be Monday before I get to weld it together. I tacked everything together with my PowerArc 140st.

I will be cutting it close on materials so I am using all my drops for the inside top layer.

Looking good. What you figure at least 5 brisketts in there. Or maybe about 4 cows worth of ribs. LOL
Sean--- I'm surprised you don't list all those welding magnets in your tag line. I've never seen that many at a welding supply house!!
I have to break down and build a welding table! Those magnets help keep things in line when you don't have a table.Quote:

What's your heat source for the smoker?
Charcoal / wood with a water pan.
Yummy!! Sausage and ham on the top racks and turkeys on the bottom. The very best of recycling.
Got some work done today! I have the outside skinned, still have to skin the top and build the door.
