Most people just use those quick connects that is used on air compressors and air tools. Ya dont have to turn it off between switching just pop one off and put the other on.
You could also just put a Y in the inlet hose with a valve on both lines turning one on and one off. But the other way is what the majority of people do.

Thanks, good ideas
I have not tried these but might be what your looking for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Western-Y-Co...item27b13f84a8
That is pretty slick, but it seems to be intended for mixing gases. Something like this http://www.drillspot.com/products/39...101_ball_valve would probably work, but I would consider using a check valve on the argon line to prevent back pressure from slamming the regulator when you switch over.
Redbeard is right they are mixing valves just thought it might work for this purpose. I did not think about the air preassure banging the argon regulator I think this would happen with any valve .zoama585 method is probably much safer and less likely to damage anything.
I used some barbed pex valves and a 't'. I'll take some pictures tomorrow.
Ok thanks, I'm going to lowes to look for a T and some valves.
$25 all brass, provides isolation between gas source.
