I was home sick and went to build a fire when I noticed my grate was burned through. Ace wanted $30 for a new one. Yes that is American dollars. I ended up buying a chunk of 1/2 inch round and welding up a quicky. My mig was taking a dump so all the welds have minimal penetration. I'm bringing home my arc welder from work and was wondering if anybody had advice.
