Stand is 3x3x1/4 square with 12x12x1/4 foot plate top is built with 1/4 plate and 1 1/2x 1 1/2 x 1/4 angle. welded with hobart 175 mig. not pro job but it works see pics. sorry took so long I have been fighting a bug for over a week.
Bill, pics didn't come through... I was actually looking at doing one to make it a horizontal, but after buying the chop saw I was thinking a portaband style in a vertical mount would handle the rest. HF tools scare me a bit on quality, how do you like the saw itself? Any complaints?
I think bug has turned brain to mush having hard tim with pics I wiil try again. Qualtity pretty piss poor in horizontal never would cut straight never could adjust to fix it since I converted to vertical works better nothing to write home about. Well just to damn computer iliterate to get the pics to attach to thread but there floating around the site somewhere
