Project 1 form Revkev6: 1932 ford sheetmetal pinhole repairs

I have had this car since bought this car when I was 14 (too long ago) and the body has pinholes on the cowl reveals in an area that you cannot get to the backside of. I have been putting off the repair of these particular holes because I would have to hand make a patch in an area that has compound curves with no idea how big the thin area was (or the patch size).

that was back when all I had to work with was a little lincoln 110v mig. I was HORRIBLE at sheet metal with that thing. When I got my powertig 225lx last fall the first thing I practiced with was sheet metal. WOW! the heat control with a tig welder is just AMAZING. I never touched a tig before that and was thoroughly impressed. I moved on to putting some small patch panels in my trunk lid (to be covered later) and found that I could weld two very thin sheets together with ease. while waiting for the latest welds in the trunk to cool I revisited the pinholes in the cowl. I cleaned them up good and using some mig wire as filler I was able to fill the holes with very judicious use of the pedal. It was actually EASY! I still have one side to do, but it gives me sort of a "before and after" as both sides were similar.
