What is the difference between a green light and a red light when the over current light comes on?
Green, is overcurrent/overvoltage. Red is overheat.
Green will usually result in a need to reset the unit with the switch (give a few minutes to cool just to be safe). Red will allow the unit to reset and continue welding. However, for best performance, if the red comes on, let it cool another minute or two once the red light goes off and welding can resume.
