New guy located in London (U.K.), any guys near by?

Hello,

Any guys located in London or around (U.K.) would like to meet to maybe build some project/s as a hobby or commercially?

Let me introduce myself:
I have something like a college degree (I think that probably is the most similar equivalent in the UK) on Telecoms, but I've been in workshops using manual and
power tools for wood, metal, electrics and electronics since very young doing mainly hobby projects. I am 30 years old, I lived in my home country, Argentina, until 2004, then I moved to London where I couldn't avoid having a workshop with lots and lots of tools, equipment and books for electronics, electricity and light metalworking,
looking to incorporate a small lathe, milling machine, etc. (Ebay it's an addiction).
It is really impossible for just one person to run a business like I pretend, which includes learning new things very often, doing the numbers, the work itself, etc plus it is quite hard to be on my own all the time, so it will be great if I can meet some other enthusiasts. To be honest I quite dislike to work together with guys who don't really enjoy what they do. I am not sure if I will find such a person/s so I also consider getting a job somewhere and having my workshop just for hobby and/or doing some private projects. Of course I will love to visit any workshops in London or around! I know it may sound quite strange this post, it's just that I though trying this way may be a shortcut as I already been almost 7 years without finding much. I don't want to make this post much longer so any questions please just ask.

I love to hear when people wants to visit my country, I hope you come soon! There are plenty of nice things to do and see from north to south! I visited only Miami and FT Lauderdale, but I really want to visit at least San Francisco, Washington, New York to see some of your awesome buildings and museums and go to Canada as well as the views are breathtaking. I am very interested in the history of the USA so I studied quite a look of it.
I did some old fashioned steel stick AC arc welding , carbon arc to join like with oxy-acetylene (I don't know why it is not used anymore as it's not too bad because it saves you the oxygen and the acetylene).
Then oxy-acetylene to join sheet of: bronze with bronze, steel with steel, steel with bronze, steel with silver, bronze with silver, brass with bronze, brass with silver, aluminium with aluminium, and tried all the same with oxy-propane.
Then some DC arc welding aluminium (very bad), stick welding with inverter, tried some steel MIG, stainless steel with an small TIG and aluminium with a nice big expensive TIG. I have probably just a couple of hours experience with each.
I am in some Yahoo groups, so I may be the same you are supposing. What group in particular?
