Project 3, trailer upgrades, Sean Murphy

Purchased this Northern Tool 5x8 trailer, added some more angle for support, and expanded metal flooring. My purpose was only to haul my tools for welding jobs, and I had a budget for how much I could spend on my welding business. Getting ready to move back to Mississippi, and now I need my trailer to move. I decided to beef up the floor with some 10gauge sheets, and I added some 1-1/2 angle for side rails. Still have to finish welding, and close in the fenders. Not quite finished, so I will add more pics later. Everything was welded/tacked with my Everlast Power Arc 200 using 3/32 7014 welding rods. Made a mistake cutting the first sheet, major brain fart.

are you going to put some sheeting on the sides or are you going to leave it open?

I'm going to leave it open, since I am pulling it with a 06 Scion XB. If I get a truck I may put some expanded metal on the sides.
