We have a lot of things in stock. Out of a couple of things, but most are in stock. We received a secondary, small order in May.
Do you have any IMig 200? I think I may have a buyer for my Miller.
I talked to Alex today, the 250EX is out of stock for 4 more weeks, as a general FYI.
Finally got off the fence and ordered my 250EX, Cooler and Cart today. Said it would be a couple of weeks. So, guess the clock is not ticking. Decided on the 250EX over the Lincoln PT225. Always a little voice in the back of my head asking if it was the right thing since I have always owned Lincoln.
We can not help with the little voice, but we can with your welder. Keep us posted.
Without the little voice I wouldn't have an intelligent conversation at work with anyone! Will the order be shipped together or as three seperate (250EX, W300, Cart) shipments?
Ahh! Now I can relate on the little voice. Same one that talk me into buying an Everlast 5-6 years ago. :)
You will really like the 250EX. As I pray to the UPS gods.
I believe if they're all in stock they will go the same day. Oleg or Mark have better stock status than us tech support guys.
I am fine with UPS until it leaves the hub for home delivery. I have Everlast hold my welders at the hub, and go by early in the morning and pick it up myself. The positive is that I can pick up my welder as early as 5:00am, and it beats waiting on the UPS man. With that being said I just made my 3rd Everlast purchase and this will be the one that gets broken....
Sean,
I think if any should survive, this one will. Its light and it comes in its own case. I am not sure how its packed, but I think it would have a better chance than any other units.
Mike,
I was looking at the Miller Dynasty 200DX until I read the spec on single phase operation. It derates to 150A. Then the choice was beween the Lincoln PT 225 and the 250EX. The P225 goes down to 10% duty cycle at 225A. Really like the features of the 250EX. Just like the Dynasty 200DX but you get more welding amps for half the price.
The PT225 LX and PT250 EX are both great machines. I have used both for years. I find the LX will probably do all I need, but for a couple more dollars, you pick up a little more power and a couple features. Both are good choices.
I only mention this for guy on a budget but saw the videos on the internet of the 250EX. The 225 LX will not disappoint anyone unless you really need that over 200 amp extra duty cycle.
I went with the 225EX for the few extra amps and the dig control, control of the ramp profile and the higher pulse frequency.
So, when is the next slow boat from China going to arrive in San Francisco. Or, is it Long Beach? It was hard to hear the person taking the order and I thought she said it would be shipping two weeks from my order. This would make it the 1st or 2nd of July.
Bigjoe, No offense, but we aren't going to get into guessing games again. Each time people want us to nail down a firm day and time. Each time we get into a new round of customers peordering, its a guessing game until they give us notification of actual delivery If your unit is a 250EX, I'd say you're going to have to wait at least a month. We don't have a 225 EX.
I also want to make sure that people understand that the "ramp profile" doesn't work with the foot pedal. It only comes into play with the torch switch function.
Mark,
Got the ramp function. As long as everything works who can complain about getting a unit that has better specs than a Dynasty 200DX for less than half the price. Just when I was ordering the unit two weeks until shipment was stated. If that is not the case I guess I have jumped the gun a little early on getting my 300cu ft. of Argon, filler, tungsten, WP-18 accessories and coolant. Oh well, as least it won't spoil. Just that you maybe should know what ship it was on and a scheduled docking date. After the docking is up to the longshoremen, customs and truck drivers to get the units to you. You have no control over these factors.
your better off not even asking - then at some point the ups guy will show up and it will be like x mas with your new toy. It is worth the wait for the 250 -
When I called a couple of days ago they still had two or three PP256 in stock.
Glen
They are out of stock. All went out that day I think.
