i have a pu205 and i love the unit but absolutely hate the crappy torch it came with. when i bought i think alex upgraded the torch for me but honestly after seeing some of the other torches available it has to be a down grade. the torch is a wsd-60p. so my question is what other torches can i run on this machine? once i get a new job that's gonna be my next investment
We've had several incarnations of torches on those units. Sounds like you did have the upgrade. Original torch for the HF models was a pt 31x for the "price" units.
so is there another torch i can upgrade to? my main beef with this torch is the stand off on this thing. it hangs on every imperfection in the steel i'm cutting. my hands shake to much for me to free hand so i use straight edges and circle cutters to try and make a clean straight cut but with this crappy stand off it's impossible. the steel i'm using is brand new so it's not like i'm using crap from the scrap yard. also something with a little better consumable availability would be nice so i don't always have to order online
