Can I run a 6010?
How many feet of welding cable can I use, the stock leads are short and I would like to add some length. What would be to long?

Sean, I think 6011 would be your best bet, although I have not tried that machine so it may run 6010 as well. As far as cables go if they are big enough they can go on for ever, well almost for ever. I think the last time I extended them I used one size bigger cable and added 15 or 16 feet, that plus the original cables gives me pretty good reach, You are about to learn how expensive copper wire is, it's an eye opener , believe me.
Its not designed for 6010, though you may be able to get it to run at higher amps, but control won't be as well. Geezer is right about using 6011, it will run better.
I would not go over 50 ft, though that isn't necessarily the limit. We have customers using the PowerArcs with some pretty long set ups. The longer the cable, the heavier the gauge. I'd go with #2 or bigger for best results.
Thanks guys, I have not used my machine as much as I would like, been busy. I'm lining up a couple projects for the weekend and wanted to know before I tried.
6011, 7014, 6013, and fresh 7018's are all good rods for the unit.
I broke out my machine and did a little stick welding today, I am impressed with all the power and how good of a job it will do. It has plenty of power for my needs.
