Well, it does not look like it, but at one time I welded for a living. Welding put me through college, and it took me a while to regain my ability to fabricate. I started off with a welder, torch, and grinder; needless to say I have purchased numerous tools because of this build. I will probably put this one on craigslist when I finish, I made a lot of mistakes that I would not make again. I'm not quite finished, and I would like to take everything I learned and re-learned and do another build. I think put all the doors on at least twice, not to mention metal warping, I could go on and on about my mistakes. I built the smoker on a Northern Tool trailer kit, I wanted a smaller cooker that would be easy to move. It's 1/8" metal inside and 12 gauge on the outside with 1-1/4 angle for the frame. I added more support and bracing on the trailer. I still have a little work left to finish.
