PP205 start and end amps?

I was wondering how the PP205 sets its start and end amps? Is it a fixed amount below the base amp setting? Thanks.

Start amps and End amps are adjustable on the new 205's, which I am assuming at this point is what we ordered this go around. I believe they were set at minimum amps previously, or around 20 amps. Can't remember,and don't have one to check right now on the older style.
