This is why I'm here. Pics. Old harley TIG
So, even though I have yet to be able to order my new 250EX, I figured that it would be fitting to post pics some of the parts I will be using the machine to weld. These are heads off a 1955 panhead

Actually, 1 is a 1956, I'm in the process of locating a correct 1955 front head, and a 1956 rear, to get 2 sets. Notice the chunk missing in the lower right corner. I will have to cut that entire round section off and weld on a replacement piece fron onside and outside the port. This is done and machined off so it can't be seen once the bike is reassembled. Having a stable, focused arc is CRITICAL to successfully restoring these parts. After all the research I've done, I believe that EVERLAST is the solution to this problem, Question I have is if a 200 amp unit will be able to handle this type of work?
Looks like someone is finally digging into the bucket list.
I've been hearing about this thing forever, good to see that you're finally getting something done besides talk about it.:P
