  1. Tig welding .032 aluminum

    I have a dv200 tig on 110v. Trying to weld thin aluminum
    Butt weld and corner welds. Tried setting frequency to 210 with low cleaning at 20 percent have my Amps at 20 Amos the lowest. Argon at 15 cup#5 using gray tungsten 1/16
    Using a diffuser in the cup. Burns through the aluminum almost immediately. Looking for the best settings as I?m fairly new to tig welding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a number of welders. One of my favourite is my everlast 140STI

    unfortunately while using it on a big generator while welding up my John Deere manure spreader in the field -- it died. Dirty Power seems to have been the problem. New generators avoid that problem so I will have to buy one

    Inspecting the 140STI we found that there is a capacitor in position #C5 on the Board. Fried

    It appears to be the same as one in C4 position. but we cannot read ...

    AC and DC tig , about 60 amps for steel, 100% argon, pre flow 1 sec, post flow 8 sec. DC setting, pedal and good bye electrode !
