In previous days all the welder made use of a mask for safety purpose during welding process. The mask was probably enough to a certain extent because welder could inhale more comfortably since the head was open but then also it used to hold one hand, therefore welder could not carry out other tasks.
In order to leave the hand free from holding the mask and to offer extra safety to the head of the welder, welding-helmet designed and launched. Welding-helmet became so popular that now it is impossible for welder not to use welding helmet.
All kind the welders believe that welding helmet is very much comfortable. Welders feel that the helmet soaks up nearly all the ultra violet rays and unsafe visuals.
There are various types of welding-helmet available; some of them will come along with flappable dark windows or with fixed window whereas other will come with mechanically darken light screens.
