Most welders in full gear are a sight that most children find a little frightening. Their equipment is necessary for their protection. Their welding equipment isn’t there to be apart of a scary movie, although they have been stigmatized by them. The equipment that they are outfitted with is actually like a friend to them. These materials are great, in that not only will it keep their skin protected, but will also give them the dexterity and comfort needed. The welder has to be able to move their fingers around and must have ample room within this protective gear to do it. They need to be resistant to any abrasive materials they may come in contact with, because the welder usually works with heavy pieces of steel and that can be unsafe at times.

There are many types of welding gloves that have added strength in the thumb and other areas that will help give the welder agility, while working with dangerous equipment. There are those that made of suede, a material that will resistant any flames from reaching the welders skin.

Some welders gloves are even made of grain deer or even cowhide. There are so many that have doubled up the material as a safety measure, all in hopes of helping keep the welder safe. There are some gloves that are fingerless, this features proves to bring more dexterity to the welder, as well.

There are some gloves that come with sewn in heat resistant materials. There are some that have come with stitching that is designed for protecting the wearer, in that the material is made to resist heat.
