Benefits of TIG Welding
September 8th, 2009
TIG welding can weld any type of metal. Some of them are steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, brass, bronze and even gold.
TIG welding can weld bike frames, lawn mowers, door handles, fenders and more. No spatter or sparks are produced because necessary amount of filler metal is added to the welding puddle.
No flux or slag is produced because argon gas protects the weld puddle from contamination.
It does not create smoke or fumes.
Argon gas can be used to TIG weld all metals and thicknesses you only need one type of gas in your shop to handle all of your welding projects.
Argon gas is typically used for most TIG welding applications.
TIG welding can weld all positions – flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead.
TIG welding is the perfect choice for roll cages and inside confined areas.
