How are Arc welding used?

Welding is nothing but connecting (join) two metals together into single piece. Joining metals were done with heated electric arc on the edges of the metal. There are many types of welding were one equipment differs from the other and also has different characteristic. Some of the most used welding equipment is the Mig weld, Arc weld, Tig weld and many more.

But the Arc weld is more widely used in large and small scale industry because of its low cost and capital. These welders have lot of features which are helpful while welding. This has unlimited amperage control which welds the metal in professional manner. These are light weight but are sturdy enough to build models and weld metals. There are very light and can be carried around but can cut thick metals in no time. There are some equipments of arc weld which carries thermostatic heat which protects the unit form any damages. The Arc welds are divided into four categories which are Shield Metal Arc Weld, Gas Metal Arc Weld, Submerged Arc Weld and Flux – Cored Arc Weld.
