Specifications seminar on Structural Welding Design are scheduled to happen for the month of March on 30th in Elk Grove Village, Chicago and on April 20th in Buena Park LA, California.

The Steel Structures Technology Center has made it officially publicized about its spring seminar for the year 2010 on the design and conditions of welding for steel-framed structures with the use of the AWS D1.1 structural welding code. Seminar topics are expected to cover up an intro to welding processes and materials, welding design responsibilities, welding symbols, economics, constructability and much more.

Sources in the know had has confirmed that the seminar will take account of the latest 2010 adaptations of each code, in addition to the associated areas of research and development in structural welding. The seminar is reportedly organized in collaboration with the International Code Council as an orientation for the structural and civil engineers, designers, steel detailers and fabricators of steel.
