A portable oxy acetylene torch is the most excellent piece of equipment that you can contain in a shop because you can weld and cut with this gear and it will not price you thousands. You can obtain a good name brand welding torch with all attachments and regulators for some low price. You can rent the tanks at a good quality welding gas dealer. The tanks will mount in a welding cart that will contain a chain that will lock across the tank to keep them from lessening out. The shopping cart will have a box in the back so you can store all your tips, gloves, safety glasses and welding torch and other belongings wanted. The shopping cart looks similar to a dolly so you can roll it where you require it.

The outfit will contain oxygen and acetylene tank as you may previously be familiar with by now. The regulators will screw in the appropriate tank. The regulator will be color coded so you do not combine them up, the oxygen regulator will contain green on it and the acetylene will contain red on it. Simply one word of care, don’t let the acetylene tank regulator get more than 15 psi!!! Or you can blow up the tank and I do not desire to think what you would look similar to. Acetylene is an extremely unbalanced gas, so be very careful with it. Oxygen tanks are very unsafe also, you might not think oxygen is, but under force it can ignite so no welding or cutting next to the tanks and watch out for the hoses that they do not obtain holes in them or you might contain a nice fire show.

Acetylene when used with oxygen is able to create a fire about 6300 degrees F. The oxy acetylene welding equipment, called the torch mixes the two gases jointly and it also controls the volume of the welding or cutting fire. The handle will have two knobs for both the gases at the lower part of the welding torch. They are completed of hard brass, copper-nickel alloy and stainless steel.
