Products & Categories :: Safety Helmets

Whether you're working as a professional or at home, never choose a welding helmet that is most expensive. While selecting a welding helmet you should look three things: lens shade, comfort and multifunctionality. Other things that you have to keep in mind are that they provide protection, not distraction, so other physical attributes should also be given importance.

Safety helmets protect the eyes, neck and face from rays, sparks and heat emitted during welding. Welding operators always need a welding helmet that is easy to use and fit properly.

While selecting a welding helmet, make sure that they meet ANSI and EN Standards. Make sure that the helmet is light, comfortable and fit your head properly without any problem. Safety helmet should also cover your face, ears and chin area properly as these can be subject to spatter on your face. A good helmet should also have a high impact resistance as it will protect your face, ears and chin from flying objects.

Safety helmets can protect your eyes from ultra violet rays or infrared rays emitted by welding arc. In older days, all welding helmets had lens shade that had polarized lens. But now auto darkening lens shade is used in safety helmets.
